Our Dobermans are an integral part of our family. They do not spend their life in the backyard. They are not kept in kennels.
Our Dobermans are our companions and our protectors. They live in our home, and spend quality time, going on daily walks, going to the lake, hiking in the desert and the mountains.
Dobermans are a devoted, loyal breed and need to be with their people. Dobermans were developed as a personal protection breed and in my opinion, to leave a Doberman in solitude with no family to bond with and protect is not acceptable for this breed.
